NIGHT DRIVING POLICY
Night: THE MOST DANGEROUS TIME TO DRIVE!!!
Night driving here is defined as a period of the day when the daylight cannot sustain proper illumination for driver hence the need for artificial lighting while driving. Night driving could either be subjective or absolute.
In subjectivity therefore, we will apply the element of time which is from 7pm – 6am.
Fatigue, lack of light, compromised night vision, rush hour and impaired drivers contribute to making driving at night more dangerous than during other time of the day. In fact, the risk of a fatal crash is three times greater at night, according to National Safety Council research.
In view of the above, JOZA GLOBAL LOGISTICS LIMITED disallows night driving in all her operations.
There shall be no night driving of trucks except on emergency cases.
NIGHT DRIVING, on emergency cases must be communicated to and approved by JOZA GLOBAL LOGISTICS LIMITED and /or Client representative.
